CoolFly Brings Its Vision for Personal Flight to IFA Berlin 2026
BERLIN, Germany, September 3, 2026 — CoolFly will showcase its Dream ST personal electric aircraft at IFA Berlin 2026, taking place September 4–8 at Messe Berlin. Visitors can see Dream ST at CityCube Hall B, Booth CCBB-143, in IFA’s Mobility area.
Following its appearance at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in the United States earlier this year and the global launch of its latest product lineup in Hangzhou in August, CoolFly is bringing personal aviation to one of the world’s leading consumer technology stages.
At IFA, Dream ST will be the CoolFly aircraft on physical display, giving visitors, media and potential partners a close-up look at the company’s approach to compact, electric personal flight.
For CoolFly, however, the aircraft itself is only part of the story. Behind Dream ST is a broader product portfolio and a self-developed flight-control platform designed to serve as the technological foundation across that portfolio.
From One Aircraft to a Personal Flight Portfolio
CoolFly’s current lineup consists of Dream ST, Dream Pro and Urban, covering different approaches to personal electric flight.
The aircraft appearing at IFA, Dream ST, is a lightweight, single-seat electric aircraft built around personal and recreational flying. Its seated configuration and quick-fold design are intended to make transportation and storage more practical for individual owners, while its development is oriented toward ultralight aircraft requirements in markets including the United States.

For users seeking greater capability, Dream Pro extends the Dream platform with increased payload, endurance and intelligent flight features. It supports a maximum payload of 120 kg, has a maximum flight speed of 100 km/h, and has achieved 40 minutes of flight time in manned flight testing with a 70 kg pilot onboard. It also incorporates technologies including millimeter-wave obstacle detection, intelligent route planning and obstacle avoidance, together with safety features such as a whole-aircraft parachute system and impact-mitigation airbags.
At the center of CoolFly’s product portfolio is its flagship Urban, a standing-position personal aircraft featuring an enclosed-propeller architecture. The standing configuration creates a fundamentally different relationship between the pilot and the aircraft, while the enclosed propulsion design physically separates the pilot from the high-speed propellers. Urban reflects CoolFly’s broader ambition to rethink what a personal aircraft can look and feel like when it is designed around the individual rather than around conventional aircraft layouts.
Although the three aircraft differ in configuration and performance, they share the same underlying philosophy: making personal flight more intuitive, compact and accessible.
They also share one of CoolFly’s most important technologies — the NA80 flight control system.
NA80: The Technology Behind CoolFly’s Personal Aircraft
For a personal aircraft, getting off the ground is only one part of the engineering challenge. Maintaining stable control, continuously understanding aircraft motion and responding rapidly when a system anomaly occurs are fundamental to safe manned flight.
That is why CoolFly has made flight-control technology a central part of its in-house development strategy.
The NA80 is CoolFly’s self-developed flight control system built specifically for electric VTOL aircraft. It uses a dual-redundant flight-control architecture consisting of two independent flight-control units. Each unit integrates three aviation-grade inertial measurement units (IMUs), creating multiple layers of sensing and control redundancy.
During flight, the system continuously monitors the aircraft’s attitude and motion. In the event of an abnormality, the architecture is designed to support millisecond-level fault detection and seamless system failover, allowing the redundant flight-control system to respond significantly faster than human reaction time.
Rather than developing a separate control architecture for each aircraft, CoolFly uses NA80 as a common technological foundation across Dream ST, Dream Pro and Urban.
This allows flight-control algorithms, aircraft dynamics, propulsion integration and intelligent flight capabilities to be developed as part of a unified system, an important element of CoolFly’s full-stack approach to personal aircraft development.
For CoolFly, this capability is particularly important as its aircraft evolve from lightweight recreational platforms to higher-performance and more intelligent personal flight systems.
CE and FCC Certifications Support Global Expansion
As CoolFly moves from product development toward broader commercialization, international product compliance has become another important part of its global strategy.
Dream ST, Dream Pro and Urban have all obtained CE and FCC certifications for applicable product compliance requirements.
The certifications support CoolFly’s continued expansion into international markets while complementing the aviation regulations and operational requirements applicable in individual countries and regions.
CoolFly is currently accelerating its presence in Europe, North America, Australia, the Middle East and other international markets.
Building a Global Dealer Network
Alongside its appearance at IFA Berlin, CoolFly is actively expanding its global dealer and distribution network.
The company is seeking qualified partners with strong local market knowledge, customer resources and service capabilities, particularly those with experience in aviation, powersports, outdoor recreation, premium mobility, marine, agricultural equipment and high-end technology products.
CoolFly’s goal is to build more than a sales network. The company plans to work with local partners to establish a complete ecosystem covering product demonstration, customer education, sales, training, service and long-term owner support.
IFA offers CoolFly an opportunity not only to introduce Dream ST to a broader technology audience, but also to connect with the partners who could help bring personal flight to customers around the world.
