Over the Joystick: Dispatches from the CoolFly Team at UMEX 2026

The desert sun over Abu Dhabi is intense, but the heat inside the ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre) is driven by pure innovation. As we stand at the CoolFly booth during UMEX 2026, our team isn’t just showcasing a product; we are witnessing a paradigm shift in human mobility.

From the moment the exhibition doors opened, our booth has been a global crossroads. We’ve welcomed high-ranking military officials from the Gulf, tech visionaries from Europe, and emergency response experts from across Asia. Their question is almost always the same: "Where is the cockpit? Where are the joysticks?"

Our answer, which never fails to spark a look of pure wonder, is simple: "You are the pilot. Your body is the joystick."

The Moment of Intuition

We spent most of the morning guiding a senior aviation consultant onto the platform of our CoolFly Urban. Like most experts, he arrived with a healthy dose of skepticism. He was looking for buttons, throttles, and complex interfaces.

"Just stand naturally," We told him. "Lean where you want to go."

As he shifted his weight slightly forward, our NA80 Flight Control System—the digital brain we spent years perfecting—interpreted his intent in milliseconds. The four-shrouded fans hummed into life with a smooth, sophisticated tone. He didn't just move; he glided. Seeing that "Aha!" moment on a customer’s face—the realization that flight has finally become as intuitive as walking—is why we do what we do.

l Safety Through Intelligence: We show our guests the internals of our NA80 system. With six-redundant IMUs and military-grade chips, we’ve built a system where the software compensates for the environment, allowing the human to focus purely on the destination.
